The Story & Design
This design is the epitome of east meets west as it explores the symbolism of red across cultures. In Chinese tradition, red is an auspicious colour representing vitality, joy, and good fortune. In Western culture, it is the colour of romance and love. Garnet sits beautifully at the intersection of both — a stone of energy, passion, and heartfelt intention.
Long, dangling earrings have long been admired in Chinese culture for their graceful movement. This design features fine gold chains accented with garnet, freshwater pearls, and our signature golden orb, swaying softly with each step. Its asymmetrical form reflects a Chinese philosophy of harmony through contrast.
All materials are sourced from China as a nod to its Silk Road heritage.
