Proudly Chinese Australian-owned and female-founded, Atelier Akina is a modern Chinese jewellery brand founded in Sydney in 2023.
The founder, Akina Lam realised crafting with her hands brought her back to the parts of her culture she had drifted away from. What started as a personal practice soon grew into a vision — jewellery that feels modern, elegant, and deeply connected to heritage.
Our Mission: Reconnect & celebrate your cultural roots
Growing up in Australia, Akina understands what it’s like to grow up between cultures. She found it hard to connect with her Chinese roots growing up in an Australian upbringing. But today, she finds so much joy in expressing who she truly is and embracing her cultural heritage.
She hopes her jewellery helps those who want a gentle way to reconnect with where they come from, whether you're Chinese or not, without needing to explain or justify it.
